How to Speed up Technician Learning Curves to Accelerate Fiber Deployments

Giuseppe joined EXFO in 2021 as a Product Specialist for the Transport and Datacom business unit. His focus is on the area of 5G transport, including timing & synchronization, as well as radio frequency spectrum analysis. In addition, Giuseppe is in close contact with EXFO customers working to understand their changing test requirements—especially in terms of 5G deployments. He also acts as a liaison between customers and EXFO’s research and development teams, ensuring an open line of communication that fuels the development of innovative new solutions. Giuseppe holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Montreal’s McGill University.

Jason Kraker is a 20-year veteran of the telecommunications industry. He has worked with technologies ranging from analog to 5G.

Prior to joining EXFO, Jason occupied various positions including network engineering and sales roles with US Cellular and Verizon. In those roles, he forged relationships with network vendors such as Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco and Meraki.

Jason holds an MA in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and a BS in Organization and Leadership from Marquette University, where he later worked as an instructional assistant for several years.
