OPEN APIs are key, but not the total solution

Lupo highlights that standardization is key to the scale of the entire telecoms industry. Replication of processes for testing purposes is not the key for reducing operating costs and achieving the scales needed.
He also points out that moving to OPEN is not just about using APIs, it’s also about the operating domain opening up, the true benefit is that testing will be programmed into the application.
