The EXFO-certified contractor (ECC) program
The ECC program is designed to train contractors across the Americas and the EMEA on key technical aspects of fiber-optic networks. It also covers the use of EXFO solutions, enabling faster and more confident network transformations. The ECC program offers training sessions that will provide you with the expertise needed to operate any test equipment along with the knowledge to address any troubleshooting issues.

Data center modules (BISCI-certified)
Gain essential knowledge in data center testing and certification with this comprehensive program, featuring five BICSI-certified courses with quizzes and a final exam. Upon completion, earn an EXFO certificate and 4 BICSI Continuing Education Credits (4 CECs) while mastering the essential skills for today’s high-performance data centers.
Note: If you have already completed the Fiber-101 module in the Fiber Fundamentals program, you will be exempt from retaking it under this program.

Learn fiber and connector basics, how to detect damaged/dirty connectors, explore cleaning techniques, and understand fiber inspection scopes.
Tier-1 certification:
optical loss test set (OLTS) in data centers
(DC-103)
Explore the challenges of certifying duplex and multi-fiber links. Learn how to overcome Tier-1 certification challenges, ensure link performance and achieve fast and accurate results the first time using an OLTS.
Tier-2 certification:
optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) in data centers
(DC-104)
Learn to interpret OTDR measurements using general reflectometry theory. Understand the limitations of both the theory and the instrument to achieve reliable and accurate results.
Fiber fundamentals modules (BICSI-certified)
Dive into our trainings designed to equip every technical staff member with the essential skills for handling and testing fiber optic networks. To evaluate your understanding of the material, there are five quizzes and a final exam for certification.
Upon completion of the fiber fundamental modules, attendees will receive an EXFO certificate. BICSI credential holders will also receive 5 BICSI CECs.

Fiber inspection and cleaning (Fiber-102)
Ensure optimal network performance and accurate testing. Learn how to detect damaged/dirty connectors, adopt cleaning techniques, understand fiber inspection scopes, and grasp inspection basics.
Optical loss test sets
(Fiber-103)
Delve into OLTS technology and applications: understand simplex vs. duplex loss testing techniques, attenuation, optical return loss, equipment essentials and setup nuances.
Optical time-domain reflectometers
(Fiber-104)
At the end of this session, attendees will have an overall understanding of OTDR setups enabling them to run tests successfully.
Reporting basics (Fiber-105)
Master reporting essentials (e.g., project settings, OTDR traces, result analysis) and advanced techniques to generate closeout reports that meet customer expectations.
4G/5G Wireless modules
Upon completion of the 4G/5G wireless modules, attendees will receive an EXFO certificate.
Note: If you have already completed the Fiber-101 and Fiber-102 courses in the Fiber Fundamentals program, you will be exempt.

Understanding RSSI/RTWP degradation (WLS-102)
Understand the basics of Passive Intermodulation (PIM), RSSI, and RTWP. Learn how operators monitor RSSI/RTWP degradation, handle related support tickets, and discover effective strategies for troubleshooting and mitigating RF interference and PIM.
Testing CPRI over fiber (RF analysis over CRPI) (WLS-103)
How to use iORF, EXFO’s intelligent RF analysis over CPRI test solution to quickly and easily detect and locate PIM and RF interference issues.
